Since its establishment in 1985, all states, U.S. territories, and the District of Columbia have received funding from the EMSC Program. Today, most funding is administered through either a State Partnership (not a U.S. Government Web site) or Targeted Issue (not a U.S. Government Web site) grant. In addition, the Program funds the Pediatric Emergency Care Applied Research Network (PECARN) (not a U.S. Government Web site).
The Program also conducts workshops (not a U.S. Government Web site) (through the National EMSC Data Analysis Resource Center), Annual EMSC Program Meetings (through the EMSC National Resource Center), and webcasts (not a U.S. Government Web site) (through MCHCOM.com); collects and disseminates EMSC products and resources (not a U.S. Government Web site); maintains a website; conducts research and related-activities; and honors the invaluable contributions of those in the field though the National Heroes Awards (not a U.S. Government Web site).
In FY 2008, the EMSC Program released its EMSC Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2008-2010: Recommendations of the EMSC Partnership for Children Stakeholders Group (not a U.S. Government Web site).
