Abstract:
This manual is an educational curriculum designed to help Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) become involved in primary injury prevention activities. It is intended to supplement a 4-hour injury prevention training course for EMTs. The objective of this curriculum is to provide specific information and tools for EMTs to plan, implement and evaluate community based injury prevention projects. This curriculum can serve as a teaching tool, reference book, resource guide or community manual.
